INPA - New forms of innovation in regions
Assigned by Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland, Advansis is carrying out a study on the new forms of innovation in regions in 2009. The study aims at detecting new forms of demand-driven and user-driven innovation activities in regions. The study also aims at facilitating making adjustments to current policy support instruments to better match the needs of the new forms of innovation. As part of the project, an expert workshop is arranged in June 2009 at the facilities of Ministry of Employment and the Economy. The project is carried out in collaboration with Unit for Science, Technology and Innovation Studies, University of Tampere, and Professor Philip Cooke, Cardiff University.
