Contribution of policies at the regional level to the realisation of the ERA |

Advansis is carrying out a study to analyse the contribution of policies at the regional level to the realisation of the European Research Area in Finland. The study is conducted as part of the ERAWATCH network for the EU Joint Research Centre's Institute for Prospective Technological Studies and the work is lead by ARC Consulting EOOD (Applied Research and Communications Fund), Logotech and the Centre for Knowledge, Innovation, Technology and Enterprise (University of Newcastle). The study will analyse, for example, the ERA related policies at the regional level targeting: (i) greater openness and integration into the ERA; (ii) an environment conducive to research and innovation; and (iii) research-driven clusters. The work is commencing in January 2009.
